In The Chinese Medicine Chest - Summer Edition, we will explore and expand on patent medicines that can aide in spring and summer related health conditions including allergies, muscle sprains, strains, bruises and more!
We will expand on the different stages of wound/ injury healing and how to use herbs to speed the healing process while reducing pain and restoring mobility.
This workshop is geared toward the general public for individual use and for the massage therapist who would like to use topical herbs in massage treatments. All products discussed are available for purchase at the workshop. No previous bodywork experience is necessary.
50% of all registration fees will be donated to Occupy Medical - The clinic operates from noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays. It sees all patients at no charge and is staffed by a regular group of 23 volunteer doctors, nurses and other health care workers.

Only 40 percent of its patients are homeless. “The rest are working people with no insurance,” she says.1
