My first day of massage school I loathed a book I now have read front to back twice. It's amazing what you will read when you don't have a teacher instructing you to do so. "Wood Becomes Water" by Gail Reichstein has lead me down the path of further research of the Chinese 5 Elements, Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal & Water.
I recently have been dealing with symptoms including migraines & low energy, so I dove back into the book I once stored in the attic and found some related descriptions with the Wood Element in excess.
In the next week I will be looking to add, among many other suggestions, Citrus foods to my diet and green to my waredrobe and home decor.
Western medicine offered no help, we shall see if this simple exploration of chinese medicine in the modern day lifestyle will aide in some small way!
